Coach must have something against him.
Hopefully somebody makes a trade for him, was excited to see him play
Pretty much the same thing Nikita Filatov did with the Senators, minus the huge contract
I don't blame him, he chose the Knights over a bucketload of cash in the KHL, of course he's going to want to play.
Vegas is lucky they're doing well or else GMGM would be fired.
He's just not that good.
How you know that?
30 year old vet that is used to 1st line minutes in offensive role gets 3 games with less that 11 minute icetime in lower lines. Scores 1 goal with that limited time and wins most of his faceoffs. Yep, that was a big enough sample size to call him not good. Only in Vegas.
this is exactly how i feel, too.
like, im not saying he's good, but imo he's still a question mark. i'd take him on the blues instead of several of our current journeyman roster players.
Calgary Flames should sign him. He could be Cervenka III.
Who was Cervenka II, mate?
Cervenka and Nakladal are Czechs though. How can a Russian be their successor?
racist @Chris, thinking that all slav countries are one and the same. how deeply offensive.
Do you dispute that Johnny Gaudreau is the rightful heir to Oleg Saprykin's throne?
The "3 games" argument is so, so, so shitty and it makes me want to make my head bloody against a wall. Training camp! Game tape! All the other resources and opportunities they failed to take advantage of when they stupidly signed him for second-line bucks! Everyone I've seen who has actually watched tape says the same thing: he's a cherry-picker.
I think the signing was foolish on the team's part, and I'd be a moron to say he's an outright bad player; but Ship wants to go home, his family wants to go home, the team doesn't want to play him, and nobody wants to trade for him with that contract, so what better option is there than to null the contract?
lol okay so a player who has never played competitive hockey outside of the KHL, doesn't even get three games to transition. this argument is cretinous.
If I can pull a score, Shipachyov is Shippedoffypov (sorry not sorry)
I think Shippedchaoff would have worked better.
neither of them work and you're both a disgrace
How about Shippedachoff?
Vadim Shipachyov is on FIRE. Since returning to SKA, he has earned an impressive 13 (6+7) points in 8 matches.
..and is going to be gifted another SKAgarin Cup.
SKAgarin Cup would make a good name for a ska band that bases all their songs on KHL teams and players.
putting the genre you play in your band name
super bush league
metallica only got away with it cause they are older than dirt
counterpoint: oSKAma bin Laden
or Avril Lavigne ska fusion cover band SKAtr Boi
As if it wasn't bad enough that she was secretly replaced by a body double after her death in 2002
