By the way, Matt Murray finished his rookie year winning his second Stanley Cup as starter, and wasn't even a finalist for Calder...

That's exactly the only reason why it was challenged IMO. It was a 100% good goal.

Sportsnet slobbering all over the Penguins as they have been all playoffs. They must love this.

Also the cup winning goal was scored by a guy drafted from the last position in 2005. The Conn-Smyth winner was drafted just at the other end ;)

He worked for them so I can cut him a bit of slack for his individual bias and love. What excuse does a Canadian network have? They were pulling for the Pens against Ottawa.

Jeremy "Talk About..." Roenick was just talking to Matt Cullen, and it does make me wonder what the Pens will do if he retires. He's been so good as a two-way forward, and even though he doesn't put up huge numbers, he can be dangerous when he gets the puck as both a passer and shooter. He seems like he never quits on the ice, and he's been a big part of the Pens' success the last couple of seasons.

Kunitz sounds like he feels like his time in Pittsburgh is over. It's kind of sad.

Is Kessel bringing the Cup to Toronto again? Maybe he can meet Steve Simmons at the fictional hot dog stand.

    Congrats Pittsburgh

If I am Washington I am mad as hell  Probably the easiest year to win a Cup in the past 5 -10 years.

Pens showed that you don't need to be the better team for 60 minutes in some games. You just need timely goals and good goaltending at the right moment...

The GWG doesn't upset me at all.

It should have been the game tying goal.

Sorry I misread what you were discussing. I was bitching about the non-goal on Nashville. That was my bad for jumping in without fully reading the comment chain.
